KOECH CORP Entry-Level copywriting Position

KOECH CORP announces its 2015 entry level opportunities in internet marketing and copywriting for undergraduate and graduate students.

The KOECH CORP copywriting program is designed to offer undergraduate/graduate students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to undertake international work experience in the South American country of Perú. This 6-month program combines both work and vacation time, providing an excellent opportunity to travel through South America and gain valuable experience in the copywriting field.

Copywriters will work in one of KOECH's copy production departments (involving health, arts, etc.) creating content for the company’s various websites. Projects are assigned based on academic training and interests, as well as project availability. All assignments require proficient writing and research skills. No previous copy writing experience is necessary, but enthusiasm and the desire to develop new skills and carry out intense internet research are required.

Eligibility:

1st Round Application

Application deadline (5^th of April 2015)
A1. If you meet the requirements for the copywriting program at KOECH CORP you must first send us your CV/resume and a brief writing sample (roughly one page of past academic or professional work, no more than 500 words), via e-mail () before the 5^th of April.

Interviews (Held between the 9^th and 11^st of April 2015)
B1. If your application is successful, you will be interviewed by phone by a member of the staff. Interview dates for the first round are from the 9^th to the 11^st of April.

Intern confirmation (Informed between the 13^th and the 20^th of April 2015)
C1. Candidates will be chosen based on their profile, writing sample and interview. After the evaluation, we will send a confirmation e-mail to successful candidates between the 13^th and the 20^th of April.

2nd Round Application

Application deadline (3^rd of May of 2015)

Interviews (Held between the 7^th and the 9^th of May of 2015)
B2. If your application is successful, you will be interviewed by phone by a member of the staff. Interview dates for second round are from the 7^th and the 9^th of May.

Intern confirmation (Informed between the 11^st and the 18^th of May of 2015)
C2. Candidates will be chosen based on their profile, writing sample and interview. After the evaluation, we will send a confirmation e-mail to successful candidates between the 11^st and the 18^th of May.

(Starts the 6^th of July of 2015)
D. Interns are expected to arrive in Perú between the 2^nd and the 5^th of July 2015.

General Guidelines:

The six-month internship is divided in bimesters:

A. Number of Positions:
    - Three positions are available for this program.

B. About work:
    - Starts the 6^th of July of 2015.
    - Contract finishes the 31^st of December of 2015. The last day at the office is Wednesday,
      December 23^rd (the week from Dec 24^th to Dec 31^st is a week off as part of vacations)

    - Work Schedule:
      Monday ~ Fridays from 8am to 6pm. Lunch time is from 1pm~2pm.

C. About accommodation:
    - Housing available from July 2^nd 2015 until December 24^th 2015 (before noon).
    - Apartment fully furnished located within walking distance of the office.
    - General services covered (electricity, water, internet, etc.)

D. About extras:
    - Two days a week house cleaning included.
    - Two days a week Spanish lessons included.
    - Private health insurance provided by the company.

E. About Salary:
    - The salary will vary according to each specific bimester.
    - Remember that Perú has cheap living expenses.
    - All vacations are paid.

F. About vacations:
      Total Vacation Time: three weeks.

      - In the 1^st Bimester: 1 fixed week (27/Jul/15 ~ 31/Jul/15)
      - In the 2^nd Bimester: 1 week at request*
      - In the 3^rd Bimester: 1 fixed week (24/Dec/15 ~ 31/Dec/15)

      * Interns will be able to decide when to take the corresponding vacation time, this
        must be requested for at least 10 business days in advance and cannot be divided
        into less than one week periods or be taken in the week before the last fixed week
        of vacations.
